Manage your account and profile

Update your name, contact details, photo, and password from your account settings.

Your account settings are where you keep your personal details current, your name, phone, email, profile photo, and password. Interpreters can also upload a headshot that appears on their public portfolio.

Step by step

  1. 1Open Account Settings from the sidebar.
  2. 2On the Profile tab, edit your name and contact details, then Save.
  3. 3To set a profile photo, choose an image file under the Profile tab, it is automatically resized before uploading, then saved when you click Save.
  4. 4Interpreters: this same photo is shared with your public portfolio, so you only set it once here.
  5. 5Interpreters: the Profile tab is also where you manage your Discovery directory listing (so agencies can find you by area); add your credentials on the Tags & Qualifications tab.
  6. 6To change your password, click 'Forgot password?' on the login screen, enter your email, and follow the emailed reset link to set a new password.
  7. 7On the reset page, type your new password twice (at least 6 characters) and submit.

Tips

  • Your profile photo is downscaled automatically, so a large phone photo uploads quickly without using extra space.
  • Password reset links are time-limited, if a link says 'expired or invalid,' just request a fresh one from the login page.
  • Reset emails are sent to you only; for security the system never reveals whether an email is registered.
  • The old free-text "Certifications" box was retired — add credentials as tags on the Tags & Qualifications tab instead.
  • Office staff see a pared-down version of this page (no interpreter-only tabs or sections).
