Find agencies and get discovered
Browse agencies looking for interpreters in your area, request to join, and opt in so agencies can find you.
The discovery directory connects interpreters and agencies by area. You can browse agencies in your state and request to join their roster, and, if you opt in, agencies searching your area can find your public portfolio and invite you.
Step by step
- 1Click "Find Agencies" in your interpreter sidebar.
- 2Filter by state, then narrow by city, language, or service if you like.
- 3Open an agency's public profile to learn more, or click "Request to join" to ask for a spot on their roster.
- 4Watch your notifications, the agency reviews your request and you'll be connected once they approve.
- 5To be discoverable yourself, publish your public portfolio, then open Settings → Profile and use the "Discovery directory" section to list yourself and set your state and city.
Tips
- Getting listed requires a published portfolio plus the "List me in the area directory" switch in Settings → Profile, turn either off and you disappear from searches immediately.
- Joining is always two-sided: a request you send must be approved by the agency, and an invite an agency sends must be accepted by you.
- Your directory listing shows only what's already on your public portfolio, no private details.
