Use best-fit ranking and one-click auto-assign
Let OneTerp rank interpreters by fitness for a job and fill open slots in one click with the top candidate.
Best-fit scores each interpreter for a job based on availability, staff status, preferred/do-not-send flags, and qualification tags. Those scores power the drag highlights and a one-click auto-assign.
Step by step
- 1Start dragging a job chip on the dispatch board, rows recolor by fitness (blue = top candidate, emerald = available, red = conflict, dimmed = doesn't speak the language).
- 2To fill instantly, click a job chip to open its detail panel and choose "Auto-assign best fit."
- 3OneTerp picks the #1 non-conflicted interpreter and fills the slot.
- 4From the assignment form, use "Save & Auto-Assign" to save the job and fill every open slot with distinct best-fit interpreters in one step.
- 5If Offer Mode is on, the button reads "Auto-offer" and sends offers instead of hard assignments.
Tips
- Best-fit considers availability, whether they're staff, preferred vs. do-not-send status, and matching qualification tags.
- Interpreters with overlapping bookings, cross-agency conflicts, or not enough travel time score zero and show red.
- If no eligible interpreter is found, you'll see a "No eligible interpreter found" message.
- Expired credential tags are ignored when matching qualifications.
