Set up credential and skill tags

Create categorized tags for interpreter qualifications used for eligibility gating and best-fit dispatch.

Tags describe interpreter skills and credentials across categories like Modality, Specialization, Credential, and Setting. They gate who can be assigned and feed best-fit ranking.

Step by step

  1. 1Seed the default tag set from Settings to get a starter list of common tags.
  2. 2Add, edit, or remove tags as needed; for credential tags, record an expiry date and an optional license number.
  3. 3Attach tags to interpreters from their profile or roster entry using the tag picker.
  4. 4Attach required qualification tags to customers (and preferred tags to consumers) so jobs only allow qualified interpreters.
  5. 5When scheduling, required tags from the customer and the assignment are merged to determine which interpreters are eligible.

Tips

  • Tags are global across the platform, not specific to one agency.
  • Expired credential tags are automatically excluded from an interpreter's active qualifications.
  • Updating an interpreter's tags syncs across all of their active agency relationships.
