Manage staff and team roles
Invite team members, approve office-staff join requests, and set each person's access by area.
The Team Roster is where managers invite staff and interpreters, approve people who request to join, and set what each one can access. Dual-role owners can also turn on interpreting for themselves.
Step by step
- 1Go to Settings, Profile & Team, and open Team Roster (managers only).
- 2Invite a new staff member or interpreter by email; staff receive a join invite and interpreters are added to your roster.
- 3Approve anyone in the Join Requests section (office staff who asked to join) with "Approve & set access."
- 4Set or change what a member can do with "Edit" in the Access column — see Set what each team member can access.
- 5Link a placeholder interpreter to a real account, or revoke a placeholder, from this same roster.
- 6If you are an owner who also interprets, use the self-toggle to turn on the interpreter role for your own account.
Tips
- Access is set per area (Coordinate, Billing, People, Customers, Reports, Settings), not by a single fixed role — presets give a quick starting point.
- Owners always have full access and can't be edited; you can only grant access up to your own level.
- Promoting an interpreter to a staff role stamps them with your agency; a pure interpreter never gets tied to a single agency because they can work with many.
