See the whole week and month at a glance

Use Week View to see every interpreter's week side by side, and the Month Heat Map to spot your busiest days, then click through to the board.

Two overview tabs sit next to the Dispatch Board. Week View lays out the days across the top and your interpreters down the side, with a chip for every job, so you can see who is covered, who is free, and what is still unfilled. The Month Heat Map colors each day by how many active jobs it holds, so you can find the heavy stretches of a month.

Step by step

  1. 1On the agency calendar, use the view toggle to switch between Dispatch, Week View, and Month Heat Map.
  2. 2In Week View, read across an interpreter's row to see their week; the Unassigned row at the top holds every slot nobody has accepted yet.
  3. 3Click an unfilled chip to open the unfilled worklist ready to fill that slot, a filled chip to open that job, a day heading to open that day's dispatch board, or an interpreter's name to jump to their row on the board.
  4. 4In the Month Heat Map, darker teal means more jobs that day; click any day cell to open it on the board.
  5. 5Use the arrows to move between weeks or months, or the Today button to come back.

Tips

  • Both views count only active jobs (pending, assigned, in progress, and completed). Cancelled jobs live on the Cancelled tab.
  • When an interpreter has several jobs in one day, the chips shrink so you still see all of them; hover a chip for the full time, customer, language, and location.
  • Job chips are colored by language, and unfilled or offered slots are amber, so open work stands out.
  • Tick 'Hide interpreters with no jobs this week' to shrink a long roster down to just the people working.
  • The calendar remembers the view you used last (Dispatch, Week, Month, or Drafts) per browser and opens there next time.
  • Clicking a job notification can deep-link you straight to that job's day.
  • Week View is for reading, not editing. Assigning, moving, splitting, and offering all happen on the Dispatch Board, where the availability, conflict, and overtime checks run, so clicking a chip always takes you there rather than letting you drag inside the week.
  • The day headings and the interpreter names stay pinned while you scroll, so a long roster stays readable.
