Schedule agency events (meetings and trainings)

Book internal events like staff meetings or trainings; attendees are notified and blocked on the dispatch board for that window.

Agency events are internal bookings, not customer jobs: a meeting, a training, an all-hands. Each attendee gets notified and their time is blocked on the dispatch board, so you don't accidentally schedule them onto a job during the event.

Step by step

  1. 1Click "Schedule event" on the dispatch board and enter the event's title, date, and time.
  2. 2Pick the attendees from your roster.
  3. 3Save; each attendee is notified and gets an availability block for the event window.
  4. 4Manage existing events (edit, cancel) from the Agency Events tab on the Operations page.

Tips

  • An event blocks the board like time off does: dragging a job onto an attendee during the event warns you, but you can override it if the job matters more.
  • Cancelling an event removes the attendees' blocks automatically.
