For everyoneπ Getting Started
Get around the OneTerp app
Use the bar at the bottom of the app, open More for everything else, and choose which three shortcuts sit on the bar.
In the OneTerp app for iPhone and Android, the menu you know from the website sidebar becomes a bar at the bottom of the screen. Your main screen is always on it: My Assignments for interpreters, Dispatch for agency staff. Beside it are three shortcuts you choose, and More, which holds every other page plus your settings, the Help Center and Sign out. Everything in the app is the same account and the same data as the website, so anything you do in one shows in the other.
Step by step
- 1Tap a tab on the bottom bar to go to that page. A number on a tab means something there is waiting on you, such as closeouts to submit.
- 2Tap "More" to reach every page that is not on the bar. A number on More means one of those pages has something waiting.
- 3In More you also find your settings, "Notification history" (interpreters), "Help Center" and "Sign out".
- 4To change the shortcuts, tap "More", then "Edit tabs". Pick exactly three and save. Your main screen and More always stay on the bar.
- 5Interpreters can log a job from anywhere with the "Log Job" button on or beside the bar.
- 6If you have more than one role, for example you run an agency and also interpret, More shows "Switch to Interpreter" or "Switch to Agency". Each side has its own bar and its own three shortcuts.
Tips
- New accounts start with Home, Closeouts and Availability for interpreters, and Home, Leave and Reports for agency staff. Change them whenever you like.
- Your shortcut choice is saved on that phone or tablet, so each device can have its own.
- On newer iPhones the bar uses the system's own glass style and Log Job is a round button floating beside it. On Android and older iPhones the bar looks a little different, but the pages and the Edit tabs steps are the same.
- A page missing from both the bar and More usually means your agency has not given you access to it, or it does not apply to you. Ask your agency owner.
- In a phone browser, without the app, you get the regular website menu instead of the bottom bar.
