SMS Messaging Terms & Consent
Last updated: 2026-06-11
Program description
OneTerpScheduling is a workforce-scheduling platform for interpreting agencies and the interpreters who work with them. With a user’s consent, we send transactional text messages to interpreters about their own work: assignment offers, confirmations, cancellations, reminders, and related updates. These are time-sensitive operational notifications sent only to registered users who have opted in. They are not marketing or promotional messages, and never go to the general public.
How users opt in
SMS is off by default. A user opts in through a web form in their OneTerp notification settings: they enter their own mobile number and agree to the consent statement below. We then text a one-time verification code to that number, and messaging begins only after the user enters that code, confirming the number is theirs. Consent is never assumed, transferred, or purchased.
Consent statement users agree to
This is the exact disclosure a user agrees to when turning on SMS:
Consent disclosure version: 2026-06-19. The version a user agreed to is recorded with their consent as dated proof.
